You heard that right. A John Foxx and Ade Fenton collaboration.
For those not in the know, Ade is Gary Numan‘s producer/collaborator for the last FIVE albums (among many other things). He’s also played this music live on tour with Gary.
John Foxx needs no introduction. Ex-Ultravox! Front man and epic solo artist with a vast back catalogue and history of collaborations with other artists.
Turns out that they both live in Bath, and “know each other socially”! So this was surely always going to happen.
The track appeared first on the Quietus website as a subscriber-only thing, but is now available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp.
There is a hint at a possible album in the future..
